AR Billing Specialist

AR/Billing SpecialistWe are partnering with a large, established organization seeking an experienced AR/Billing Specialist to join its finance team on a contract basis. This individual will play a key role in supporting the full accounts receivable lifecycle, including invoicing, collections, account reconciliation, and customer account management.The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounts receivable and billing operations, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while utilizing CRM and financial systems to support daily operations.Responsibilities:Generate, review, and distribute customer invoices accurately and in a timely mannerManage the accounts receivable process, including cash application, account reconciliation, and payment trackingDrive collections efforts by proactively following up on outstanding balances and resolving payment discrepanciesMonitor aging reports and communicate with customers regarding overdue invoicesResearch and resolve billing issues and account discrepanciesMaintain accurate customer and account information within CRM and financial systemsPartner with internal stakeholders to ensure billing data and account information remain accurateUtilize CRM platforms and enterprise systems to support billing and receivable activitiesPrepare accounts receivable reports and provide updates on outstanding balancesAnalyze financial data and create reports using Excel, including formulas and data analysis functionsAssist with month-end close activities related to accounts receivableSupport process improvement initiatives and special projects as neededQualifications:2-3+ years of Accounts Receivable and/or Billing experienceStrong collections experience with a demonstrated ability to manage outstanding balancesExperience utilizing CRM systems (Salesforce, Workday, or similar platforms preferred)Advanced Excel skills, including formulas and data analysisStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environmentComfortable learning new technologies and adapting to evolving processesAdditional Information:Hybrid schedule: 4 days onsite, 1 day remoteContract length: 3-4 months with potential for long-term opportunities based on performanceCandidates should be comfortable utilizing their own equipmentCriminal background check requiredImmediate need with an ASAP start dateAddison Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
