Respiratory Therapist - Day Shift - $7,000 Signing Bonus

Overview Position located at University Hospitals. Provides diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory therapy for adults and neonates. Administers respiratory therapy treatments, evaluates the appropriateness of physician-ordered therapy, assesses patients to determine appropriate therapy, and communicates recommendations to physicians. Responsibilities Provide all types of diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory procedures throughout the medical complex for adults and neonates. Administer all types of respiratory therapy treatments. Evaluate the appropriateness of physician-ordered therapy and assess patients to determine appropriate therapy. Recommend therapy plans to physicians. Minimum Education and Qualifications Minimum Education Required: 2-Year College Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience with a major in respiratory therapy. Graduate of an accredited two- or four-year school of Respiratory Therapy; must comply with the Ohio Respiratory Care Board licensure guidelines.
