Billing Manager

$120,000 - $140,000 + Benefits | Direct Hire LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Revenue Accounting & Billing Manager for a growing organization in Houston. This is a hands-on working manager role focused on overseeing billing, revenue accounting, accounts receivable, and contract administration processes rather than direct people management. Responsibilities Review and interpret customer contracts to ensure accurate billing and revenue recognition. Prepare and submit customer invoices through customer portals. Manage low-volume, high-dollar billing transactions and customer invoicing. Oversee accounts receivable activities, collections, and cash application. Prepare and reconcile customer billings for pass-through and reimbursable expenses. Ensure revenue and cash receipts are accurately recorded in the ERP system. Coordinate sales and use tax matters with external tax advisors. Identify and implement process improvements within billing and revenue operations. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 5+ years of accounting, revenue accounting, billing, or accounts receivable experience. Strong experience reviewing customer contracts and contract-based billing. Experience with ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP, NetSuite, or Microsoft Dynamics. Advanced Excel skills. CPA, CMA, or public accounting experience preferred.
