An exciting opportunity awaits speech-language pathologists seeking a meaningful contract role for the 2026–2027 school year. Immerse yourself in a diverse educational environment, working with students in grades K–12 and collaborating with dedicated teams to support learners with a broad spectrum of speech and language needs. Whether your expertise lies in early childhood, elementary, or pediatric care, your skills will have an impact on students with both moderate and profound challenges in communication.
This full-time position allows you to focus on direct student care, intervention planning, and progress monitoring, with caseloads tailored to your experience and professional interests. Candidates interested in either a local or travel placement are welcomed.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid SLP license in New York (or eligibility and willingness to obtain)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; CFY considered
- Experience with pediatric populations, particularly in school or early childhood settings
- Skilled in providing services for students with diverse and complex speech/language needs
- Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
- Assess and evaluate students to determine individualized speech and language needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals and treatment plans
- Deliver direct therapy services to students across grade levels
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
- Participate in IEP meetings and professional development sessions
