Step into an impactful role supporting students’ communication and language development as a contracted Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in school-based services. This position provides a wonderful opportunity to work with a diverse pediatric population using your expertise to help children succeed academically and socially. Hybrid and teletherapy opportunities may be available, allowing for flexible service delivery.
Utilize your clinical skills to assess, diagnose, and create individualized treatment plans for students with a variety of speech and language disorders. Connect with families and collaborate with educators to promote student progress and foster enriching learning environments.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology license or eligibility in the state of New York
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) considered
- Previous experience in pediatric, school-based, or healthcare settings highly desired
- Proficiency with teletherapy platforms and technology for remote service delivery
- Strong communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills
- Passion for working with children and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, intervention, and consultation services to students as part of their IEP teams
- Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans tailored to individual needs
- Complete required documentation and progress monitoring
- Collaborate regularly with teachers, families, and other allied professionals
- Participate in team meetings and provide training or support to school staff as needed
