An experienced Speech-Language Pathologist is needed for a rewarding contract opportunity working with a vibrant K-6 or K-8 caseload of 30-40 students. The role centers on providing essential speech and language services to elementary and middle school learners with mild to moderate needs. You’ll enjoy being based on one campus, supporting students across four connected buildings, and working collaboratively with a dedicated team of educators and support staff.

Your expertise in pediatric school speech therapy—whether you hold your CCC or are in your Clinical Fellowship Year—will be valued and supported throughout the academic year, from August 24th through May 28th. The school is committed to creating an inclusive, nurturing environment where students’ communication skills can thrive.

What You’ll Bring:

• Active North Carolina SLP license and NPI number (for Medicaid documentation)
• Experience or strong interest in providing speech-language therapy in school or pediatric settings
• Skilled in working with students presenting mild to moderate speech/language disabilities
• Exceptional communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
• Motivated, positive attitude and adaptability to serve in a dynamic campus environment

Your Day-to-Day:

• Evaluate, diagnose, and provide direct and consultative services to students
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and therapy goals
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Maintain accurate and timely records for compliance and Medicaid billing
• Support student progress through engaging, evidence-based interventions
