This leadership role is ideal for an engineering professional who thrives on driving operational excellence, leading technical teams, and implementing world-class manufacturing processes.Our client is a growing precision aerospace manufacturer committed to innovation, continuous improvement, and delivering high-quality products that meet the industry's most demanding standards.Position SummaryThe Manufacturing Engineering Manager will lead a team of manufacturing engineers responsible for improving production processes, developing manufacturing methods, supporting production, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. This individual will collaborate across engineering, operations, quality, and supply chain to ensure efficient, cost-effective manufacturing while maintaining the highest quality standards.Key ResponsibilitiesLead, mentor, and develop a team of Manufacturing EngineersDevelop and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs)Evaluate and improve manufacturing methods, workflows, and production processesEstimate production times, labor requirements, equipment needs, and manufacturing costsCreate and maintain CAD models and manufacturing documentation using CATIA V5 or similar CAD softwareGenerate engineering drawings and product structures that accurately reflect customer requirementsEstablish manufacturing tolerances and process documentationSupport production and subcontractors with engineering solutions and technical guidanceCoordinate engineering priorities with Operations, Quality, Purchasing, and Production teamsDrive Lean Manufacturing and Kaizen initiatives focused on quality, efficiency, and waste reductionResolve manufacturing challenges through analytical problem-solving and continuous improvementEnsure compliance with company safety and quality standardsQualificationsRequiredBachelor's Degree in Engineering preferred (Associate's Degree considered with relevant experience)Minimum 5 years of Manufacturing Engineering experiencePrevious leadership or supervisory experienceExperience in aerospace or precision manufacturing environmentsStrong understanding of manufacturing processes and production planningExcellent communication, leadership, and organizational skillsPreferredExperience with CATIA V5Epicor ERP experienceLean Manufacturing and Kaizen implementation experienceStrong CAD and technical documentation skillsContinuous Improvement mindsetBenefitsCompetitive SalaryMedical, Dental & Vision Insurance401(k) with company benefitsPaid Time OffCareer Growth Opportunities
