Why You Matter As a Machinist at Lantech, you play a critical role in producing high-precision components that power our industry-leading equipment. Your skill, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability directly impact product quality, performance, and customer satisfaction. What You’ll Do As a Machinist, you’ll apply your technical expertise to machine complex parts while maintaining high quality standards. Key responsibilities include: Set up and operate CNC lathes, CNC mills, manual lathes, and manual mills Machine parts to print using both metric and inch drawings Hold and inspect tight tolerances - sometimes less than 0.001 inch Produce simple to complex components using a variety of machining equipment Utilize precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, bore gauges, indicators, and optical comparators Read and interpret detailed blueprints, including GD&T Devise creative and unconventional part-holding methods when needed Maintain a strong focus on quality, safety, and productivity Perform other duties as assigned What We’re Looking For We’re seeking an experienced, dependable machinist who takes pride in precision work and thrives in a team-oriented environment.
