Building and Grounds Maintenance Manager Job Posting
Green Gold Group is seeking a dedicated and proactive Building and Grounds Maintenance Manager to oversee our facility’s maintenance operations, ensuring a safe, clean, and efficiently functioning environment. Requirements
- Extensive knowledge of building systems such as plumbing, electrical, and HVAC
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to diagnose issues and plan repairs effectively
- Experience in scheduling and managing maintenance activities
- Excellent management and supervisory skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software
- Ability to perform other related duties as assigned
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of five years’ maintenance experience
- At least three years of supervisory experience
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Successful background and CORI check required for employment
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the maintenance department
- Delegate cleaning and maintenance tasks to team members
- Supervise custodial and maintenance staff to ensure quality work
- Monitor safety and cleanliness of all indoor and outdoor areas, including offices, grow and post-harvest rooms, labs, kitchens, and parking lots
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs as needed
- Schedule inspections and coordinate emergency repairs with external vendors
- Collaborate with Security to maintain proper security measures
- Prepare reports on maintenance, repairs, safety issues, and other incidents
- Prepare facilities for seasonal weather changes, including snow removal and asphalt treatment
- Assist in budgeting and scheduling for facilities needs in coordination with Senior Management
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to navigate the property and 153,000 sq ft facility for inspections and repairs
- Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds
- Physically able to perform repairs when necessary
