The Physician’s Assistant works with a variety of healthcare professionals/security officers in a correctional environment to provide basic medical services supervised by a licensed Physician. NURSE PRACTITIONER / PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Graduate of an accredited college/university NP / PA program Must possess current licenses or certifications in the state of employment Experience in Correctional desired but not required Maintains required annual licensure and credentialing requirements for physician assistants / Nurse Practitioner in the healthcare unit.
