CareCore at Lakeridge is seeking an organized, dependable, and proactive Scheduling Coordinator to join our team! This position is responsible for managing daily and ongoing schedules for our nursing staff, including RNs, LPNs, and State Tested Nursing Assistants (STNAs).

The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who can stay organized in a fast-paced long-term care environment, adapt quickly to staffing changes, and work closely with nursing leadership to ensure appropriate staffing coverage.

• Create, maintain, and update nursing schedules for RNs, LPNs, and STNAs.

• Coordinate staffing coverage for call-offs, vacations, open shifts, and other scheduling needs.

• Monitor daily staffing levels and work with nursing leadership to ensure appropriate coverage.

• Communicate scheduling changes and updates with nursing staff and management.

• Track employee availability, time-off requests, and scheduling preferences.

• Assist with identifying and resolving scheduling conflicts.

• Maintain accurate scheduling records and documentation.

• Work closely with the Director of Nursing and other department leaders to address staffing needs.

• Assist with other administrative duties as assigned.

• STNA certification or LPN licensure preferred.

• Previous scheduling experience preferred, ideally in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting.

• Previous nursing department or healthcare experience strongly preferred.

• Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to multitask and adjust quickly to changing staffing needs.

• Proficiency with computers and scheduling software.

• Dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.

• Ability to maintain professionalism when handling sensitive staffing situations.
