Job Title: Quality Inspector II (Multi-hire: 3 positions) FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Salary: $21.53 - $26.87/hour Reports to: Quality Assurance Director Location: Onsite. KULR Technology Location: Houston Travel: N/A Position Overview The Quality Inspector II is responsible for leading quality control activities and conducting detailed inspections and tests on products and processes to ensure compliance with quality standards. This role involves advanced quality control techniques, data analysis, and collaboration with production teams to enhance product quality. Responsibilities of this position includes Hands‑on tasks such as measuring product dimensions, documenting findings, and performing routine quality assessments. The inspector must be able to work independently with minimal instruction and supervision while maintaining compliance with quality standards. Functions Responsible for performing inspections on materials, products, assemblies, sub-assemblies. Read drawings, comprehend specifications and tolerances, compare results with specifications and record test data, confer with engineers, technicians and production personnel as necessary. Perform dimensional and visual verifications of machined parts to acceptance criteria. Review documents supplied with material and parts to acceptance criteria, such as dimensional reports, traceability reports and certificates of conformity. Develop and maintain inspection plans per drawing requirements. Work closely with engineering, production and management teams to address quality concerns and implement corrective actions. Ensure all existing working procedures, and processes are followed. Responsible for completing In-Process, Final, & Receiving inspections and documenting and maintaining inspection results.

REQUIREMENTS

Education & Experience High School or associate degree and experience in battery pack testing and assembly 1 - 3 years of experience in technical training or manufacturing training Preferred: Knowledge of electronic processes, battery safety and components. Experience in high voltage battery environment. Preferred Experience within Battery industry preferred Quality inspection experience with AS9100 Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs) Demonstrated ability to influence others, build effective relationships with both internal and external stakeholders to accomplish business objectives. Demonstrated ability to assume personal accountability, address limitations, exhibits honesty and respect towards others, the company and oneself. Demonstrated ability to work independently, assessing business needs and using problem-solving skills to address challenges. Intermediate use of computers and Microsoft Office Suite Applications such as Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook. Occasionally Remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods. Constantly Moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another. Sedentary work that primarily involves sitting/standing Constantly Moving self in different positions to accomplish tasks in various environments including tight and confined spaces. Occasionally Light work that includes moving objects up to 20 pounds. Occasionally Medium work that includes moving objects up to 50 pounds. Occasionally Heavy work that includes moving objects up to 100 pounds or more. Occasionally Ascending or descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles and the like. Occasionally Special Conditions Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a criminal background check. Must be able to provide own transportation between work locations. Must be able to work various hours and locations based on business needs. Must be a U.S. Citizen due to federal contract requirements. Successful applicant must meet ITAR requirements.
