Radiologic Technologist

Radiologic Technologists perform routine and complex diagnostic imaging procedures, ensuring patient safety, high-quality images, and adherence to departmental protocols. Key responsibilities Include reviewing requisitions, verifying patient identity, selecting appropriate equipment, assessing patient needs, explaining procedures, and practicing ALARA radiation safety. They follow Quality Control workflows and participate in high reliability training. Qualifications Require an Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology (Bachelor's preferred), MA Radiographer license, ARRT certification, and experience in Diagnostic Radiology. BLS certification is also necessary for senior technologists. Additional duties Involve mentoring junior staff, supporting daily operations, troubleshooting equipment, and engaging in professional development to stay current with regulations.
