Pharmacist - Traverse City, MI

A contract opportunity is available for a Pharmacist in a retail pharmacy setting located in Traverse City, MI, with potential for direct hire. This role primarily involves day shifts with a Monday through Friday schedule, including occasional rotating Saturdays.


Schedule/Hours:

• Monday to Friday, 10-hour shifts (8:00 AM - 7:00 PM)
• Rotating Saturdays, 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Accurately review and verify prescription orders using RX 30 software (training provided)
• Dispense medications in compliance with all applicable regulations
• Provide expert consultation and counseling to patients regarding medication therapies
• Ensure safe and efficient pharmacy operations within a retail environment
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate records and manage inventory appropriately

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Active Michigan pharmacy license
• Retail pharmacy experience required
• Familiarity with RX 30 software preferred; training available if needed
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
