Job Responsibilities What Awaits You

• Conduct routine and advanced clinical laboratory testsincluding chemistry, hematology, immunology, and moreconsistent with established protocols.
• Analyze test results for precision, troubleshoot discrepancies, and conduct preventative maintenance and calibration of laboratory instruments.
• Assist with the collection of specimens and prepare samples for testing as needed.
• Thoroughly document all lab procedures, provide training for new colleagues or students, and help uphold the highest standards of lab quality.
• Uphold a clean and safe working environment while adhering to regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or related allied health degree, along with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) required within one year of hire.
• Continued maintenance of certification throughout employment is necessary.
