Job Opportunity – Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) Registered Nurse – Ohio

Start Date: October 23, 2026

Location: Cleveland, Ohio

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, 12-hour shifts with every other holiday rotation required

Highlights:

• Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) specialization in a high-acuity critical care environment
• Night shift schedule providing continuity of care for complex cardiac patients
• Comprehensive orientation including ECG rhythm recognition and safe medication administration assessments
• Travel nursing assignment with potential for extension up to 18 months
• Pre-start module completion required with billable orientation time

Requirements:

• Minimum 12 months of permanent experience in CVICU or cardiovascular intensive care specialty
• Active Ohio RN license or current Compact State license (must be in hand prior to submission)
• Current certifications required: BLS (AHA or American Red Cross), ACLS, and NIHSS
• One professional reference from a manager, supervisor, or director within the specialty from the past 12 months
• Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• Completion of background check and fingerprinting requirements within 48 hours of contract signing
• Clean license and background history (no open cases or license disciplinary actions)
