The ideal candidate will have experience with real estate contracts and both commercial and residential closings. Hosted by: Katie Griffith Responsibilities Provide legal advice on a broad range of real estate matters including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, development, financing, and property management. Conduct in-depth title searches, review title commitments, and handle title defect curative matters. Prepare and negotiate complex real estate transaction documents. Conduct closings and ensure compliance with all contractual obligations. Advise clients on legal risks and implications related to real estate transactions. Represent clients in court or before government agencies, if necessary. Maintain current knowledge of industry trends, changes in business practices in the assigned markets, regulatory changes, and applicable federal and state laws governing real estate transactions. Collaborate with a diverse team of attorneys and support staff to provide comprehensive legal services to clients. Qualifications Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school. Licensed to practice in North Carolina. Minimum of 2 years of experience in real estate law, with a focus on commercial real estate transactions. Proficiency in conducting title searches and managing closings. Exceptional negotiation skills and a proven track record of successfully closing real estate transactions. Ability to manage multiple projects, work under pressure, and meet strict deadlines. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients, team members, and other stakeholders. High level of professionalism and adherence to strict confidentiality and ethical standards. Demonstrated commitment to staying updated on current legislation and legal processes affecting the real estate industry. Salary: $100,000 - $150,000 per year Jobot is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
