Paralegal

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Medical Malpractice Paralegal to join our boutique legal team in Nashville. This is a unique, low-volume position that allows you to focus deeply on high-quality case management rather than rushing through a massive caseload.

salary: $85,000 - $90,000 per year
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM
education: High School

Responsibilities

• Manage a select, low-volume portfolio of medical malpractice cases from inception through trial preparation.
• Request, track, organize, and index comprehensive medical records and billing statements.
• Prepare pleadings, motions, discovery requests, responses, and subpoenas for attorney review.
• Assist in identifying, retaining, and communicating with medical expert witnesses; organize materials for expert review.
• Assemble trial binders, organize exhibits, and coordinate schedules for depositions, hearings, and trials.
• File legal documents electronically in both state and federal courts.
