Job Title: Accounting Manager

Overview:
The Accounting Manager plays an important role in helpingthe bank maintain accurate financial information, strong controls, and confidencein its reporting. By supporting audits, regulatory expectations, and key accountingprocesses, this role helps the company manage risk, make informed decisions,and continue earning the trust of customers, regulators, auditors, andshareholders.

What You'll Do:
Day in the Life - Every day you will oversee key accountingactivities that support accurate financial reporting, and strong internalcontrols. In this role, you will prepare and review monthly, quarterly, andannual financial reports, reconciliations, journal entries, variance analyses,regulatory reporting, and support for SEC-related disclosures. You will partnerwith external auditors, assist with audit preparation and follow-up requests,and contribute to specialized accounting areas including allowance for creditlosses and purchased loan portfolio analysis. You will also help lead, train,and mentor an accounting team member while identifying process improvements and automation opportunities thatincrease efficiency and reduce manual work.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in accounting
3 - 5 years of experience in public accounting
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel spreadsheet experience

Bonus Points:

Experience in leading others
