Manager, Hardware Asset Management

Position Overview The Corporate IT Infrastructure Department is seeking an experienced and results‑oriented Hardware Asset & Inventory Manager to lead the maturation of IT Hardware management and data reporting functions. Reporting to the Program Manager for Corporate IT Asset Management, you will provide technical and process leadership for internal and external clients, enabling the business through improved IT Asset inventory technologies and processes. Location This position is hybrid, based in our Jacksonville, FL office. Duties & Responsibilities Serve as a point of contact for FNF’s hardware inventory and asset management practices. Assist in managing the Technical Services inventory in ServiceNow, including education, intake, data governance, and record decommission. Improve current HAM governance reporting programs and work with IT managers to act on reporting insights. Act as a central point for governance, risk, and compliance groups to secure information regarding hardware inventory and asset management practices. Implement and maintain HAM capabilities such as asset lifecycle management, procurement, inventory, refresh, and disposal processes using ServiceNow‑supported processes and other tools. Develop and enhance Service Portal components for self‑service asset requests, tracking, and reporting. Ensure data integrity and accuracy within the CMDB for all hardware assets, including CI relationships and attributes. Enable governance structure that allows the Technical Services inventory to serve multiple departments and resource needs. Lead ITAM’s participation in the implementation and maintenance of integrations between ServiceNow HAM and external systems, inventory management systems, and discovery tools. Collaborate with stakeholders (business, technical, GRC) to understand requirements, translate them into technical solutions, and improve existing hardware asset management processes. Identify opportunities for automation within the HAM lifecycle to enhance efficiency and reduce manual effort. Create and maintain comprehensive technical and process documentation, including design specifications, user guides, and strategic direction guidance. Manage and mentor a small team directly, acting as a hands‑on manager, and work closely with IT Finance and Licensing to control the service budget. Continue contract review and updates as service requirements change and mature. Willingness to travel if required. Minimum Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. Minimum 10 years of job‑related experience. IT Operations Current technical knowledge of IT hardware and software, including servers, desktops, laptops, mobile devices, network devices, storage devices, software licensing basics, enterprise applications, virtual devices, services, and components. 5+ years’ experience in modern IT infrastructure support and maintenance, understanding how an IT Operations group delivers services and supports the company. ServiceNow Digital Portfolio Management 5+ years’ experience working within the technology portfolio management offerings from ServiceNow. Communication and Management Excellent communication and presentation skills in English. Prior team leadership experience. Relevant certifications such as ITIL, ServiceNow DF (CMDB and CSDM), ServiceNow CSA, and ServiceNow CIS‑HAM. Preferred Experience IT project management experience in planning and implementing enterprise‑level systems. Experience in technology product management. Experience with data analysis using Power BI, Excel Pivot Tables, or similar tools. Demonstrated experience with assisting with the management of an F500’s enterprise hardware asset and inventory program in ServiceNow. Compensation & Benefits FNF considers multiple factors—including education, training, specialty, experience, and location—to determine compensation.
