Responsibilities Promote and sell the full line of nutritional and supplement products to retailers within an assigned territory. Build strong customer relationships, identify growth opportunities, conduct product demos, and support store success through regular visits and inventory checks. Travel frequently to evaluate and enhance current and prospective sales; set up appointments with retailers/buyers of health food store accounts in the territory. Provide product demonstrations to generate interest among retailers and consumers. Answer customer questions and handle customer service situations when applicable. Prepare reports of business transactions and maintain expense accounts. Work effectively with a sales team to expand and serve the customer base; identify growth areas within assigned stores and collaborate with buyers to achieve growth. Participate in monthly sales representative teleconferences, regional meetings, and annual meetings. Maintain a clean and orderly work area and comply with company, department, and safety policies and programs. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university, and one to two years related experience. Knowledge of basic computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, and presentation software. Strong presentation skills, attention to detail, and ability to establish priorities and meet sales goals. Ability to present information effectively and respond to questions from managers, clients, and customers. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to calculate figures such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages. Ability to interpret various instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Physical ability to perform duties, including occasional standing, walking, sitting, talking or hearing; ability to lift up to 20 lbs occasionally and up to 10 lbs frequently; specific vision abilities as required.
