Used Equipment Sales Representative

McCoy Construction & Forestry, a John Deere dealership group with 25 locations across the Midwest and East South Central Regions, has an opening for a Used Equipment Sales Representative. **Do you know your way around heavy equipment? We need a sharp Used Equipment sales Representative to help us grow our market presence. You will be the go-to person for our used equipment, managing the whole process from finding customers to closing the deal. Located in either Nashville, TN or Knoxville, TN. Essential Duties and Responsibilities (not in order of priority) Proactively develop new business opportunities while maintaining existing client relationships. Identify, negotiate, and close used equipment deals to meet and exceed targets. A team player who can also work independently. Prospect and sell used construction and forestry equipment. Keep our media lines up to date with equipment, photos and information. Negotiate and maintain proper credibility with potential customers. Present products and services to prospective customers. Education, Skills & Knowledge Preferred Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) in a related field from a four-year college or university and at least three years’ experience in a management position. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Knowledge of Word Processing software, Inventory software, Microsoft Outlook, internet software, and Order processing systems. Experience with ADP applications preferred. Good interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills. Benefits Paid Time Off - 80 Hours in the first year. Mileage paid for company use.
