Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Operating Room RN with a minimum of 2 years of OR experience and previous travel assignment experience required.

Details

• Operating Room unit with a 1:1 patient ratio
• Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• Weekend and holiday call required as needed, typically minimal (about once every couple of months)
• Travelers must work two of the three winter holidays
• Surgical Technologists are utilized for all cases, so RNs are not required to scrub
• Meditech charting system used

Requirements

• Active Maryland or Compact RN license in hand at time of consideration
• BLS and ACLS certification (American Heart Association)
• Minimum of 2 years of current, recent Operating Room RN experience
• Previous travel experience required
• Meditech charting experience preferred

• No radius rule for this facility, and rates are the same for local travelers
• RTO requests reviewed and approved on a per-case basis
