AutoCAD Designer - Fire Sprinkler systems

Seeking Fire Sprinkler Designer in Denver, CO (Aurora) Join us at Arapahoe Fire Protection and our team of talented and experienced designers! Established Fire Sprinkler Company seeking immediate hire for a Fire Sprinkler Designer position. Must have design experience in the Fire Sprinkler Industry. Founded in 1989, Arapahoe Fire Protection is a leading fire protection company with offices in Aurora, Colorado Springs, and Wheat Ridge Colorado. Responsibilities Reviewing construction contract documents and coordinate with subcontractors and General Contractors/Owners to gather the required information to design project sprinkler systems. Ensure compliance with applicable NFPA standards, local and national building codes, and the scope of the work based on the project documents and specifications. Work with sales to provide technical support and estimating guidance where needed. Skills 2+ years of experience in fire sprinkler design. Knowledge of fire protection and life safety systems, fire protection regulatory standards, and state and local codes. Technical understanding and knowledge of automatic sprinkler systems and components. NICET certification preferred. Proficiency in AutoSprink preferred. Strong computer skills with proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office software. Ability to perform work in an efficient and organized manner and maintain thorough records. Proven ability and track record of performing work in a timely manner and meeting deadlines. Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal and presentation skills, including ability to communicate effectively, and work collaboratively among our team. Ability to professionally communicate with customers and provide excellent customer service. Schedule 8 hour shift. Monday to Friday.
