Available Shifts

1st Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

2nd Shift: 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM

3rd Shift: 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM

Job Summary

As a Machine Operator, you will operate and monitor production equipment to ensure products are manufactured safely, efficiently, and according to quality standards. You'll be responsible for machine setup, material handling, quality checks, basic maintenance, and overall production support.

What You'll Do

• Operate production and manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently
• Load raw materials and remove finished products from machines
• Monitor machine performance and make basic adjustments as needed
• Conduct quality inspections using measuring tools and visual inspections
• Complete machine setups and changeovers
• Perform preventative maintenance and routine equipment checks
• Accurately complete production and quality documentation
• Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and escalate concerns when needed
• Safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment (training available)
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures
• Work collaboratively with team members and production leadership to meet daily production goals

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing, production, machine operation, assembly, warehouse, or industrial experience preferred
• Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to read work instructions and complete basic documentation
• Comfortable using measuring tools and performing quality checks
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and move materials weighing up to 70 pounds
• Forklift experience is a plus but not required

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of York, PA.

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
