Business Analyst II, Clinical Technology Special Projects

Role Description

This is a remote role that requires a high level of schedule flexibility and the ability to travel as needed. Candidates must be available to work nights and weekends, as these hours are a required and ongoing part of the role. This scheduling expectation is non‑negotiable. Applicants must also be willing and able to travel periodically to meet business needs.

• Perform various analysis and interpretation to link business needs and objectives for assigned function.
• Lead analysis for high‑priority, escalation‑driven initiatives for the Clinical Systems Enablement Team by rapidly clarifying ambiguous requests, engaging senior stakeholders, and translating needs into actionable requirements or solution options.
• Evaluate existing processes, reports, and systems to determine opportunities to retire, reuse, enhance, or implement interim solutions when enterprise changes are not immediately feasible.
• Support business initiatives through data analysis, identification of implementation barriers and user acceptance testing of new systems.
• Identify and analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems to improve existing processes.
• Perform detailed analysis on assigned projects, recommend potential business solutions and assist with implementation.
• Identify ways to enhance performance management and operational reports related to new business implementation processes.
• Develop and incorporate organizational best practices into business applications.
• Lead problem solving and coordination efforts between various business units.
• Assist with formulating and updating departmental policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Comply with all policies and standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience.
• 2-4 years of business process or data analysis experience, preferably in healthcare.
• Project management experience preferred.

Requirements

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.
• Highly Preferred: Experience supporting ad hoc or special initiatives, such as issue escalations, regulatory requirements, system implementations or transitions, and market‑specific requests, within complex or highly regulated environments.
• Strong ability to communicate effectively with senior leaders (including Directors and Vice Presidents), synthesize complex information into clear insights, and influence decision‑making without formal authority.
