Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or an assigned group of patients in the cath lab according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff, and coordinate care with other disciplines while applying critical thinking, professional judgment, and supervisory discretion.
- Monitor patient status, document assessments, administer medications per policy, and assist with interventional procedures in the cath lab.
- Prepare the cath lab for procedures, maintain sterile technique, and ensure equipment readiness and safety compliance.
- Collaborate with the interventional cardiology team; respond to emergencies; support post-procedure care and discharge planning.
- Provide patient and family education as appropriate and contribute to care plan updates as the patient’s condition evolves.

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license (state requirements per assignment) and ability to practice in the listed location.
- Cath Lab nursing experience or exposure to interventional procedures is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary hospital environment.
- Willingness to work a 4x10-hour day shift and participate in a travel assignment for the specified duration.
- Strong critical thinking, clinical assessment, and communication skills.
- Ability to adhere to facility policies, nursing standards, and safety protocols.
