Advanced OB RN | Registered Nurse

Position Overview: This role involves delivering comprehensive nursing care and leadership within a collaborative healthcare team. The nurse will support patients across all ages and backgrounds, promoting health and providing physical and emotional support to patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain clinical competency and accurately identify patient issues for all age groups, from infants to geriatrics.
Recognize changes in patient conditions, adjust care plans accordingly, and monitor outcomes.
Perform thorough assessments and apply critical thinking to interpret data and respond effectively.
Communicate vital information to the healthcare team promptly.
Develop and update individualized nursing care plans daily and as needed.
Administer medications following pharmacy and manufacturer guidelines, adhering to all policies and procedures.
Follow physician orders accurately and complete tasks in a timely manner.
Prioritize patient care efficiently, working well under stress with maturity and flexibility.
Manage equipment and supplies based on patient needs, ensuring the department remains organized and well-stocked.
Charge appropriately for supplies and treatments.
Work scheduled hours with flexibility to cover extra shifts as needed.
Adapt to assignment changes with minimal disruption, potentially including respiratory, physical, or occupational therapy duties.

Education and Certification Requirements:

Registered Nursing degree from an accredited nursing school.
Active Registered Nurse license in the relevant state.
BLS (CPR) certification required or to be obtained within 3 months of hire.
ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required within one year (NRP not required for Surgical RN-Advanced).
For Emergency Room specialization, completion of TNCC is necessary.
