Job Opportunity: Full-Time Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Physician

Our organization is currently in search of a Board Certified/Board Eligible Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Physician to join our dedicated team at the MaineHealth Primary Care Practice located in Farmington, Maine . This full-time position offers the chance to provide exceptional care in a supportive office environment.

The successful applicant will collaborate with a vibrant group of four physicians and three Advanced Practice Providers (APP), all supported by an outstanding administrative staff. Our primary care services cater to a community of approximately 40,000 residents, offering both preventive and diagnostic cardiovascular care. The local medical community fosters excellent collegial relationships and referral networks.

• Annual base salary with significant potential for additional income.
• Call schedule of 1:12.
• Teaching opportunities available for nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and medical students from the University of New England's UNECOM program and Tufts University Medical School.

MaineHealth Franklin Hospital is a critical access hospital with 25 beds and a medical staff of 50. It serves a diverse patient population from a wide geographic area. The hospital features a modern birthing unit staffed by OB/GYN providers, along with advanced ultrasound and multi-detector CT scanning technology, as well as state-of-the-art laparoscopic surgical equipment.

• MD/DO from an accredited medical institution.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
• NRP certification is required; PALS certification is highly recommended.
