Serve as the primary owner of MTM's internal communication channels, visual assets, and messaging execution to ensure timely, accurate, engaging, and consistent communication that supports plant operations, team member engagement, and company values.This role partners closely with Positive Employee Relations, Safety, Production Control, Leadership, and Business Partnering Groups to deliver clear, strategic, and visually strong communications across the organization.As a part of the above, and on an ongoing basis will also:Own and manage plant-wide internal communications across all channels, including:MTM AppMTM NewsletterEmail communicationsDigital signage / Triple Play monitorsVideos, presentations, and visual storytelling assetsDraft, design, and publish communications related to:Production updates, weather impacts, overtime, and policy changesSafety messaging and urgent notificationsRecognition programs, campaigns, events, and engagement initiativesEducational and informational content for team membersCreate and maintain high quality visual assets, including:Flyers, graphics, posters, and digital signage slidesNewsletters, campaign materials, and recognition visualsPowerPoint presentations for leadership and plant-wide useProduce and edit photos and videos, including:Onsite photography for events, recognition, and leadership featuresVideo recording, editing, and formatting for monitors and MTM ConnectInformational and educational videos for team membersEnsure all creative output aligns with MTM brand standards, tone, and messaging expectationsManage multiple communication projectsDevelop communication plans, timelines, and deliverables to support effective executionCoordinate with stakeholders to clarify messaging, approvals, and execution stepsTrack deliverables and ensure communication deadlines are metAssist in elevating team member voice through structured two-way communication tools, surveys, and feedback mechanismsDevelop and maintain standard processes and timelines to support communication goalsMonitor, evaluate, and continuously improve communication tools, channels, and processesDevelop messaging campaigns that promote Company initiatives and Mission, Vision, and ValuesEnsure accuracy, timeliness, consistency, and usefulness of all Company communicationsPerform other related duties as assigned by the departmentBe available to work outside of normal work schedule, including but not limited to weekends, holidays, shutdowns, and travel as needed (domestically and internationally)Be available to work dailyWhat You BringHigh School Diploma/ GEDStrong verbal and written communication skillsProficiency Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)Strong organizational, project management, and time management skillsHigh attention to detail and accuracyAbility to work overtime and travel as neededWhat Will Set You ApartBachelor's degree in communication related field (Journalism, Public Relations, Communications, or similar) or equivalent experience2+ years of relevant experience in internal communications, corporate communications, graphic design, multimedia content creation, video editing, recording, website management, or a related field.Proficiency in Canva, including advanced templates, layouts, and branding systemsWorking knowledge of Adobe Creative tools (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, or equivalent)Experience with photography and photo editingExperience with video recording, editing, and formattingExperience creating content for digital signage platforms and internal communication systemsWhat We OfferAt Mazda Toyota Manufacturing USA Inc., we offer the opportunity to end each day with a smile and a sense of pride in the work that you do. Our compensation structure consists of an annual salary and a yearly discretionary bonus based on company and individual performance.
