Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team. The Laundry Attendant plays a crucial role in ensuring the cleanliness and proper care of linens, towels, and other laundry items, contributing to a positive guest experience. Details: Start Date : ASAP Employment Type : Full Time, Non-Exempt Schedule : Varies Pay Rate : $23.50/hour Job Responsibilities: Approach each shift with a positive attitude, a willingness to learn, and ready to contribute to the team’s overall goal. Sort, wash, dry, fold, and iron linens, towels, and other laundry items according to established standards. Ensure all laundry items are properly cleaned, sanitized, and free of stains. Maintain a clean and orderly work space at all times. Check washer and dryer prior to each cycle to ensure only approved materials are placed in each machine. Monitor and maintain inventory levels of clean linens and supplies. Coordinate with the Executive Housekeeper to reorder laundry supplies as needed. Operate and maintain laundry equipment, including washers, dryers, and dishwashers. (Maintenance to include but not limited to checking dryer filters) Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to the Laundry Supervisor/Manager. Follow safety guidelines and procedures when handling laundry chemicals and equipment. Adhere to company policies and laundry-related regulations. Collaborate with other departments, such as front-of-house staff and management, to create a seamless and exceptional dining experience. The duties of this position may change from time to time. Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends, evenings, and holidays. Spanish language preferred. Strong interpersonal skills. Education and Experience: Previous laundry, housekeeping or hospitality experience preferred. Prefer at least 1-2 years of work experience. High school diploma preferred. Physical Demands: The physical demands for this position are seeing, hearing, speaking, reaching, frequently lifting up to 25 pounds, occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds, sitting, standing for 4 to 8 hours, bending, and moving intermittently during working hours.
