Location: Monroe, Louisiana (In-Person)

Position Type: Unpaid Internship (College Credit Eligible)

Overview: The Monroe Moccasins are seeking a Social Media Intern to assist with the execution of our social media strategy throughout the season. This position offers hands-on experience in sports marketing, content creation, and digital media.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with game day social media coverage, including posts, stories, and live updates.
• Create graphics and edit videos for team social media channels.
• Schedule and publish content across platforms.
• Assist with content planning and social media campaigns.
• Help grow engagement on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and other digital platforms.
• Complete additional social media-related tasks assigned by the Social Media Director.

Requirements:

• Must be currently enrolled in a college or university.
• Pursuing a degree in Communications, Marketing, Media, Sports Management, or a related field.
• Must be located in Monroe, Louisiana, or the surrounding areas.
• This is an in-person internship; remote work is not available.
• Reliable transportation is required.
• Available for all home games.
• Available 2–3 hours per day during the week.
• Experience with Canva and/or Adobe Photoshop.
• Experience with CapCut.
• Familiarity with Meta Business Suite, Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Reporting Structure: The Social Media Intern will report directly to the Social Media Director. All content, projects, and responsibilities must be reviewed and approved by the Social Media Director prior to publication or completion.
