Human Resources Specialist (Classification)

Human Resources Specialist (Classification)
Some of your typical work assignments may include:
- Conducts classification reviews, audits position descriptions, and ensures compliance with OPM classification standards.
- Assists with the development of classification and position management guidelines.
- Advises management on how to establish organizational structures that are efficient, cost effective, support desired grade levels and facilitate career development.
- Provides assistance to employees with classification appeals.
- Prepares replies and assembles classification documents in response to requests from USMS Office of General Counsel, USMS District offices; Office of Equal Employment Opportunity, etc.
