Scripps Clinic Medical Group, NORTH COUNTY San Diego (Carlsbad/Oceanside, +/- La Jolla) Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner located in the San Diego County, primarily North County. The position is in the division of Interventional Pain within the Department of Orthopedic Surgery. The Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner will provide patient care under the supervision of a physician, including conducting physical exams, diagnosing and treating illnesses, developing treatment plans, and managing patient care. Evaluate new patients with painful Spine and Musculoskeletal conditions Order Interventional Pain procedures (injections, nerve ablations, stimulation, etc.) Followup on patients after procedures No long-term opioid management (minimal if any short-term) Qualifications Experience in an Interventional Pain Practice is preferred Appropriate licensure as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner Licensure in the State of California or ability to obtain licensure prior to start date #J-18808-Ljbffr
