Physician Assistant

Job TitleMedical Screening ExaminerDutiesPerforms medical screening examinations in an inpatient or outpatient setting for patients of all ages.Examines patients and performs initial patient work-up and assessment of patients' care and treatment.Determines the need for and orders laboratory tests, X-rays and other procedures necessary to complete assessment of the patient.Diagnoses disease, illness disorder or injury.Prescribes for and treats a variety of diseases, disorders and injuries.Position may require incumbent to provide preoperative and postoperative care, and may work as first or second assistants during major surgery.
