Our state-of-the-art Urgent Care centers focus on the episodic treatment of acute illnesses and injuries on a walk-in basis seven days a week with lab and x-rays on-site. We are seeking a Full-Time Physician Assistant to join our Team in San Diego, California.What does AFC Urgent Care have to offer? Stable and well supported practice, environment conducive to increase your scope of practice, scheduling options include 12 shifts monthly: 8am – 8pm. Typically 2 – 3 workdays per week, with 9 – 12-hour shifts and pre-approved overtime. Competitive pay. Hourly rate: $67-$73. Hourly blended rate with overtime from 9 and 12 hour shifts incorporated with base rates: $74-$83. Additional bi-weekly bonuses based on patient volume thresholds.What does AFC Urgent Care require? An unrestricted medical license in California, DEA Certificate, must be NCCPA Board Certified, at least one year's experience in an ER, Urgent Care or Primary Care setting, able to treat patients of all ages and be comfortable with minor procedures (e.g., suturing lacerations, draining abscesses, etc.), available to workday, evening and weekend shifts.Compensation: $67.00 - $73.00 per hourPS: It's All About You!American Family Care has pioneered the concept of convenient, patient-centric healthcare.
