Press Brake OperatorOur client, a leading manufacturing organization specializing in precision sheet metal fabrication, is seeking a Press Brake Operator to join their team. As a Press Brake Operator, you will be part of the production department supporting manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and mechanical aptitude, which will align successfully in the organization.Location: Santa Teresa, NMPay Range: $15.00 to $18.00Shift: 7am to 4pmWhat's the Job?Operate press brake machines to produce precision parts according to blueprints and sketchesProgram CNC controllers to ensure accurate bend and forming operationsAdjust machine settings based on process control instructions and blueprintsPerform routine maintenance and inspections to keep equipment in optimal conditionCollaborate with Quality Control to meet customer specifications and delivery schedulesWhat's Needed?High school diploma or equivalent with prior machine-operating experienceAbility to read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and technical documentsBasic math skills, including converting fractions to decimalsStrong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skillsAbility to lift up to 50 pounds and work with little supervisionWhat's in it for me?Opportunity to work in a dynamic manufacturing environmentHands-on experience with CNC programming and machine operationPotential for skill development and career growthSupportive team environmentComprehensive safety training and equipmentUpon completion of waiting period associates are eligible for:Medical and Prescription Drug PlansDental PlanSupplemental Life InsuranceShort Term Disability Insurance401(k)If this is a role that interests you and you'd like to learn more, click apply now and a recruiter will be in touch with you to discuss this great opportunity.
