Electrical Maintenance Technician Requirements

High School Diploma or GED required
Previous experience in industrial maintenance or manufacturing environments preferred
Strong electrical troubleshooting and repair experience required
Experience troubleshooting CNC machines, presses, or automated manufacturing equipment preferred
Knowledge of PLCs, AC/DC drives, servo motors, hydraulics, pneumatics, and industrial control systems
Ability to read and interpret electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical blueprints
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
Basic computer and documentation skills required
Ability to work independently and as part of a maintenance team
Flexibility to work overtime and varying schedules as needed

Key Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical issues on manufacturing equipment
Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and industrial machinery
Diagnose equipment malfunctions and replace defective components
Perform preventative maintenance inspections and repairs
Troubleshoot CNC lathes, forge presses, and other production equipment
Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings
Maintain maintenance records, repair documentation, and parts tracking
Work closely with engineers, technicians, and production personnel to improve processes
Support production efficiency by reducing downtime and equipment failures
Follow all company safety procedures and maintenance standards
