CT TECH

Schedule

6am - 4pm (30 min break) for 3 days; Float Day options are 6:30am - 3:30pm, 12pm - 9:30pm (30 min break), or Overnight.

Assignment Details

Total of 37.5 hours.

Requirements

• High School Graduate or Equivalent required.
• Graduate of a program in Radiologic Technology.
• NYSDOH License Required.
• ARRT Certification Required.

Responsibilities

• Perform computerized tomographic imaging exams as ordered, adhering to established policies and procedures.
• Prepare and enter required documentation such as informed consent and patient chart data.
• Observe sterile and aseptic techniques as necessary.
• Check equipment, supplies, and accessories regularly.
• Assess the physical needs of adult and geriatric patients.
• Manage patient fears and provide assistance to those with special needs.
• Complete examinations in a timely manner, ensuring adherence to radiation safety standards.
