Principal Scientist, Medical Physicist role at RayzeBio (Bristol Myers Squibb subsidiary) focused on radiopharmaceutical dose modeling and translational dosimetry analysis. Responsibilities
- Support internal dosimetry analysis for discovery and development of radiopharmaceutical imaging and therapeutic agents
- Design experiments and perform dosimetric data analysis from PET and SPECT imaging to assess drug uptake and distribution
- Analyze preclinical and clinical imaging data to advance animal-to-human dose projections
- Identify best practices and standardization processes for image data quality control in preclinical research
- Evaluate new technologies and modeling approaches, including novel radioisotopes, to improve radiopharmaceutical development
Requirements
- PhD in Medical Physics or Engineering with training in radiopharmaceutical biodistribution and dose modeling
- Minimum 6 years molecular imaging and RPT dose modeling research, or 3 years with 10+ RPT publications
- Proficiency with dosimetry software and coding tools (3D-RD-S, OLINDA, Python, Matlab, R, etc.)
- Subject matter expertise in pharmacokinetic modeling applied to radiopharmaceutical development
- Demonstrated cross-functional leadership and ability to communicate complex imaging and dosimetry topics
- Experience with radiopharmaceuticals in oncology and alpha-emitters strongly desired
- Knowledge of global dosimetry guidelines and willingness to travel 10-15%
Compensation: $134,505 - $162,988
