Paralegal

Job Responsibilities Assisting attorneys in preparing civil litigation matters for trial Work with clients to receive discovery documents such as medical records, billing records, employment files, video footage from accident, etc. Review discovery materials – analyze and summarize medical records Draft motions and discovery responses as well as other documents Draft and send out Subpoenas to providers and records retrieval companies Set up independent medical examinations (IMEs) Prepare for trial Requirements 2+ years of experience in the legal field; experience with insurance defense general liability work preferred Experience in civil litigation is a plus, but not required Paralegal certificate or other related degree is a plus but not required Strong organizational skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Able to work in a fast-paced environment Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in civil litigation support, including drafting legal documents, managing discovery processes, and preparing for trial.
