Safety Advisor - Owner Rep

SMG seeks a local Safety Advisor - Owner's Rep in the Indianapolis, IN area. The key function of a Safety Advisor is to put safety at the forefront of their job, prioritize the client's needs, work well in a team setting, be self-managed, and be flexible when it comes to change. Overview of Job Responsibilities: Provide project safety support on behalf of the Owner and the Owner's representative Coach and influence the safe execution of procedures and work plans Support the project with safety management services to support a safe work environment Serve as a safety resource to Client and Contractor stakeholders Requirements 10+ years of construction safety experience A degree in Safety or related fields is preferred OSHA 30-Hour Construction Course Experience representing owners on a project Physical Demands of the job may include: Moving long distances Ascending/Descending stairs and ladders Remaining in a stationary position for a prolonged period Working in extreme weather Being exposed to loud noises Wearing personal protective gear correctly Join an elite group of Safety Professionals!
