Deliver individualized speech therapy sessions that emphasize language, communication, fluency, voice, and swallowing improvements. Collaborate extensively with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, doctors, families, and caregivers to develop unified care tactics. Provide valuable education for patients and their families to facilitate progress beyond therapy sessions. Contribute to occasional inpatient evaluations and therapy interventions, ensuring seamless care throughout the treatment continuum. Document patient progress timely and accurately in compliance with state, federal, and organizational regulations. Stay updated on the latest enhancements in the field through ongoing education and collaboration with peers. Educational Background Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution. Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet ASHA-certified. Required Certifications State license as a Speech Language Therapist . Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within the first 30 days of employment. Key Skills Expertise in evidence-based treatment for all age groups, with a firm grasp of both developmental and acquired speech, language, and swallowing disorders. Outstanding interpersonal communication abilities with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams. Skill in tailoring therapy methods to accommodate a diversity of cultural and linguistic backgrounds. Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving capabilities. Experience with electronic medical records and documentation protocols. What We Offer Attractive compensation aligned with your experience. Flexible scheduling to ensure a healthy work-life balance and diverse caseloads. Opportunities for specialization in pediatrics, adult neuro rehabilitation, or geriatrics.
