Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Backend Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. In this role, you will design, develop, and deploy scalable web, enterprise, and AI-powered applications that drive business impact. You will work on cloud-native architectures, lead end-to-end system design, and mentor junior engineers while leveraging cutting-edge technologies including Java, Spring Boot, microservices, and Generative AI.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and architect scalable backend systems that support enterprise and web applications
• Develop robust and maintainable Java applications using Spring Boot and microservices patterns
• Implement and integrate Generative AI solutions, including RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), LLMs, and Knowledge Graphs
• Build and maintain cloud-native architectures on modern cloud platforms
• Lead full-stack development efforts and collaborate across frontend (Angular) and backend systems
• Manage end-to-end deployment pipelines and ensure system reliability, security, and performance
• Conduct code reviews, establish best practices, and mentor junior team members
• Collaborate with product managers, architects, and cross-functional teams to translate requirements into technical solutions
• Identify and implement performance optimizations and architectural improvements

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software development experience
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot framework
• Strong expertise in microservices architecture, design patterns, and distributed systems
• Proficiency in designing and building REST APIs and event-driven architectures
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Solid understanding of database design, SQL, and both relational and NoSQL databases
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle complex technical challenges
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Generative AI technologies including LLMs, RAG, and Knowledge Graphs
• Hands-on experience with Angular or other modern frontend frameworks
• Experience with message brokers and streaming platforms (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
• Knowledge of security best practices and secure coding principles
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
• Contribution to open-source projects
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
