QA Engineer III

Global Soft Technologies, LLC in Clearwater, FL is seeking QA Engineer III to assist Project Managers in coordinating and monitoring activities of team members to provide information technology, business consulting, and software development/solutions services to clients. Individuals will apply advanced theoretical knowledge of subject matter principles and concepts to perform the following responsibilities and duties:

• Coordinate and guide the design and documentation of test plans, test scenarios, test scripts, and test procedures based on software specifications.
• Oversee the design of test cases covering all aspects of mobile device testing on Android platforms.
• Supervise test execution on mobile devices.
• Review defect logging and tracking processes, ensuring timely defect resolution and closure.
• Analyze and consolidate test results at the story or feature level and provide comprehensive reports to the project team.
• Train and mentor junior QA Engineers in best practices for test design, execution, and reporting.
• Review the work of junior team members for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to requirements.
• Support Project Managers to ensure project deliverables meet quality standards.
• Monitor and submit project tracking and status reports.

Minimum Requirements:

Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Business, or any related field of study, plus at least three (3) years of experience in the job offered or in any related position(s).

In lieu of the above-stated education and experience requirements, employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Business, or any related field of study, plus at least five (5) years of progressively responsible post-degree experience in any related position(s).

Additional Information:

No travel; no telecommuting. Job duties are project-based and performed on long-term assignments at various unanticipated sites within the U.S. which may require relocation at the end of each project.
