Job Summary  

The Heat Press Operator is responsible for producing high-quality customized garments by accurately applying logos, names, numbers, and graphics using a Hotronix Heat Press Machine. This role follows production specification sheets and/or art sheets to meet customer expectations and ensures all products are delivered on time and to company quality standards. The Heat Press Operator must be detail-oriented, maintain productivity, keep a safe and organized work environment, and work collaboratively in a fast-paced warehouse production setting. 

Essential Job Functions  

Machine Operation 

• Set up and operate the Hotronix Heat Press Machine in alignment with production specifications, including proper temperature, pressure, and timing settings. 
• Follow instructions provided on production spec sheets and/or art sheets for each customer order. 

Heat Transfer Application 

• Apply heat transfers, vinyl, or digital graphics to jerseys, apparel, and other products with accuracy and precision. 
• Ensure proper placement, adhesion, and durability of applied graphics. 

Quality Control 

• Inspect finished products for alignment, clarity, and adherence to customer specifications. 
• Identify and correct errors before releasing items for shipment. 

Production Scheduling 

• Work efficiently to meet production deadlines and maintain consistent workflow. 
• Assist with prioritizing work orders to maximize team productivity. 

Additional Responsibilities and Requirements  

• Maintaining a Clean Workspace:?Keeping the work area organized and clean, ensuring the safe operation of the heat press machine.? 
• Troubleshooting:?Identifying and addressing minor machine malfunctions or issues.? 
• Communication:?Communicating effectively with team members and management regarding production progress and any issues that arise.? 
• Assisting with other Production Areas:?Helping with other production tasks as needed.? 

Qualifications, Education, and Experience  

• High school diploma or GED required; equivalent experience considered. 
• Prior experience in garment customization, production, or machine operation preferred. 
• Knowledge of machines and tools used in production environments. 
• Ability to prioritize responsibilities, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting. 
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality output. 

Cognitive and Physical Demands  

• Ability to stand for extended periods while operating machinery. 
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.  
• Manual dexterity and precision required for graphic alignment and application. 
• Strong attention to detail to ensure proper graphic placement and quality standards. 
• Organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines and maintain productivity. 
• Must stay hydrated due to heat exposure from machinery and work environment. 

Working Conditions  

• Position is based in the MonkeySports warehouse production department. 
• Climate-controlled environment with occasional fluctuations due to warehouse activity. 
• Exposure to heat press machinery and related production equipment. 
• Fast-paced production floor environment requiring teamwork and adaptability.
