Senior Human Resources ManagerThe Senior HR Manager is responsible for leading the strategic and operational functions of the Human Resources department. This position oversees all aspects of human resource practices and processes, including recruitment, compliance, benefits administration, employee relations, training and development, and performance management. The Senior HR Manager will partner with executive leadership to ensure HR strategies align with the company's mission, culture, and business goals.Supervises: Senior HR Generalist, HR Generalist, HR AssistantsSupervisory Responsibilities:Provide leadership and oversight to the HR team, including assigning tasks and evaluating performanceMentor and develop HR staff, providing coaching and growth opportunitiesEnsure timely execution of HR initiatives including onboarding, employee reviews, and compliance programsOversee hiring and termination processes in coordination with department headsEnsure legal compliance with employment laws and regulationsDuties/ Responsibilities:Develop and implement HR strategies that support business objectives and enhance employee engagementLead workforce planning, organizational development, and talent management strategiesOversee full-cycle recruitment, from sourcing to onboardingManage employee relations matters, investigations, and conflict resolutionAdminister compensation, benefits, and leave programs, ensuring compliance and competitivenessMonitor and ensure company compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulationsServe as a liaison between employees and leadership, fostering open communication and trustFacilitate performance appraisal processes and provide guidance to management on improvement plansDesign and implement training and development programs for leadership and staffMaintain and analyze HR metrics to assess program effectiveness and make strategic recommendationsLead employee engagement initiatives and promote a positive work cultureManage the HRIS system and ensure data integrity and confidentialityPrepare and manage departmental budget and vendor relationshipsRepresent the organization at career fairs, community events, and HR industry functionsOther duties as assignedEducation/Certifications/Licenses:Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field requiredMaster's Degree or HR certifications (e.g., SHRM-CP/SCP, PHR/SPHR) preferredOSHA 30 or willingness to obtain is a plusExperience:7-10 years of progressive experience in Human Resources, with at least 3 years in a leadership roleExperience in construction or contracting industry preferredProven knowledge of federal and state employment lawsExperience managing benefits, payroll coordination, and HRIS platformsRequired Skills/Abilities:Strong leadership, mentoring, and team-building capabilitiesExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsIn-depth knowledge of HR practices, employment law, and compliance standardsAbility to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretionStrong organizational skills and attention to detailConflict resolution and negotiation skillsData analysis and reporting skills using Excel or HRIS platformsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentContacts:Internal: Staff, VolunteersExternal: Clients, Vendors, Suppliers, Contractors, Stakeholders, Service ProvidersPhysical Demands/Working Environment:Physical Demands Sedentary work.
