We are seeking a skilled Accounts Payable Clerk to join our growing team. Job Summary Our firm is seeking a meticulous and dependable Part-Time Accounts Payable Clerk to join our accounting team. This role is critical in ensuring accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices and expense reimbursements in a fast-paced legal environment. The ideal candidate has prior experience in a professional services firm, ideally a law firm, and understands the importance of confidentiality, precision, and timeliness. Key Responsibilities Review, code, and enter vendor invoices in accordance with firm policies and general ledger coding Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies Coordinate invoice approvals with attorneys, paralegals, and department heads Process check runs, ACH payments, and wire transfers Assist with attorney and staff expense reimbursements, ensuring compliance with firm guidelines Maintain accurate accounts payable records and digital filing systems Communicate professionally with vendors and internal staff regarding payment status and inquiries Assist with month-end and year-end closing tasks as needed Support the finance department with ad-hoc administrative and accounting duties Qualifications High school diploma required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Business preferred 1–2 years of accounts payable experience, preferably in a law firm or professional services environment Familiarity with trust accounting and client-related disbursements is a plus Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel Experience with legal accounting software (e.g., Aderant, Elite, Clio, or similar) preferred Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to handle sensitive financial information with discretion Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Working Conditions May require extended hours during closing or reporting periods. #J-18808-Ljbffr Zwillinger Wulkan PLC
