Outpatient Surgery Registered Nurse, Ambulatory Surgery Center (Registry)

The only thing missing is you! Responsibilities Perform duties throughout the ASC in the capacities in which competency has been achieved (Admissions, OR, Pain procedures, PACU, and discharge). Provide direct patient care to neonate through geriatric patient populations. Communicate with surgeon and anesthesiologist continuously and as needed about patient condition. Assess operating room for equipment functioning and readiness, obtain supplies for individual cases, and ensure all appropriate needs of surgical operating team are met. Demonstrate the ability to deal with pressure to meet deadlines, to be accurate, and to handle constantly changing situations. Demonstrate the ability to deal with a variety of people, handle stressful situations, and manage conflict. Perform all job duties or job tasks as assigned. Follow and adhere to all requirements, regulations, and procedures of any licensing board or agency. Comply with all Benefis Health System’s organization policies and procedures. Qualifications and Experience Requirements Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (BSN preferred). Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Montana. Current BCLS certification. Current ACLS or scheduled to be completed within the first year of employment. Previous experience in the operating room. Exemption/Wage information: Non‑Exempt Starting Wage.
