Patient Financial Services Specialist

As a key point of contact for patients, the full-time Patient Financial Services Specialist will manage billing inquiries, resolve outstanding balances, and provide support through various communication channels in a fully remote setting. Key responsibilities: Serve as the primary contact for patients regarding billing questions via phone, email, and chat Manage patient billing and collections using practice management software Monitor trends in patient inquiries and escalate recurring issues to management Required qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred Previous experience in patient billing, collections, and healthcare customer service Strong understanding of insurance processes and claims denial/rejection Proficiency in electronic health record software, preferably Athena Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with patients and team members Virtual Vocations Inc
